Cancellation and Refund Policy – Ondas Novas
At Ondas Novas, our goal is to ensure you have the best possible experience in the ocean. However, we understand that plans can change. To maintain high-quality service and instructor availability, the following policy applies:
1. Cancellations by the Student
If you need to cancel your booking, refund terms are based on how much notice is provided:
More than 48 hours’ notice: You will receive a 50% refund of the total booking amount.
Less than 48 hours’ notice: No refunds will be issued, as your spot and equipment have been reserved exclusively for you, preventing other students from joining the session.
No-show: Failure to attend the lesson without prior notice will result in the total loss of the booking fee.
2. Rescheduling
If you wish to change the date or time of your lesson, you must request it at least 48 hours in advance. Changes are subject to availability for the requested new time slot.
3. Cancellations due to Weather Conditions
Surfing depends entirely on nature. At Ondas Novas, your safety is our top priority:
If sea or weather conditions are unsuitable or unsafe (as determined by our technical directors), the school reserves the right to cancel the activity.
In this case, we will offer to reschedule the lesson for another date. If rescheduling is not possible for you, we will provide a credit voucher or a full refund.
4. How to Request a Cancellation
